Krishan; birder and wildlife photographer

Hailing from Panadura, Krishan is a passionate birder and talented wildlife photographer with over 15 years of professional experience leading birdwatching tours across Sri Lanka’s rich and diverse ecosystems.

A dedicated conservationist, he is a long-standing member of the Field Ornithology Group of Sri Lanka (FOGSL), actively contributing to numerous research and preservation projects nationwide.

Krishan’s keen eye, engaging storytelling, and extensive knowledge of Sri Lanka’s birdlife make him a favorite guide among both novice birdwatchers and expert ornithologists. His stunning photographs of rare and endemic bird species not only capture the beauty of the wilderness but also help raise awareness for environmental conservation.

Since 2022, Krishan has proudly served as a Wildlife Specialist and National Tourist Guide Lecturer with Experiential Journeys, consistently delivering unforgettable wildlife experiences to our valued guests.
